From Russia with Love

After their triumphant debut at Summer Music in City Churches in 2023, Tier 3 Trio returns to perform two romantic Russian works: Arensky's Trio and Andante - an arrangement of the slow movement of Tchaikovsky's 2nd piano concerto with its love duet for violin and cello. The programme opens with Liszt's lyrical tribute to the musical hero of Greek mythology for whom love conquered all, even death.
