Join the Art Deco Trio for their jazz, popular and classical takes on traditional melodies, shanties and spirituals from around the world in this exuberant concert at St Giles Cripplegate.
The exciting evening programme for piano, saxophone and clarinet features Iain Farrington's own brilliant arrangements: Voices of the World, based on traditional melodies from all over the world and composed for the King's Coronation, sea shanties, African-American spirituals, and folksongs from the UK, Korea, China, South Africa and more. Expect to hear Amazing Grace, Every time I feel the spirit, Steal Away, Greensleeves, My love is like a red rose, The Sailor's Hornpipe, What shall we do with the drunken sailor? and many more.
