Mark Bebbington plays lyrical portraits of romantic heroes (Tristan & Isolde), a musical legend (Edith Piaf) and a much-loved saint. Mysterious themes emerge in Debussy's evocation of a legendary submerged cathedral, and the spiritual rite infusing the final piece by Franck.
